Description
Babies. Their pale, flawless skin, the smell on their little heads of angel soft hair, their chubby folds, and tiny features... A toothless smile from a sweet baby melts even the toughest hearts.
They teach us so much at their tender, tiny age. They touch us about loving something so much there is no question we would go to the ends of the earth for them. They teach us that there can be great joy in the simplest things in life, like green grass to chew on or a fistful of hair from an unsuspecting four-legged playmate. It need not be more complicated than that! They teach us there is nothing better than food, hugs and kisses from someone familiar and safe, and long, lazy naps in the sunshine.
Babies are tiny miracles that crawl into our lives and our hearts, teaching us about the simple joys of unconditional love and uncontrollable laughter. I truly believe that when we have children, the biggest gift we get is when they grow up and give us our grandchildren.
My grandson, Max, here at 8 months old, is my sweet little man who never fails to light up like a Christmas tree the minute he sees me. Who could ask for more?
