This orange, spotted canna lily bowled me over set against the beautiful, azure blue buildings of Obidos Portugal. The singular blossom is breathtaking in and of itself, but set against the blue just took my breath away.
I have done very little post-processing to the photograph. It was taken with my iphone Xsmax. If you ever get a chance to visit this tiny village between Lisbon and Porto, it was worth the trip. The buildings are white and royal blue, some trimmed in bright yellow or orange. It sits on a hill and has a castle, great shops, and very friendly people. And once in a while, you get to capture a beauty like this that is like icing on the cake!
