A misty morning on Lake Shan-Gri-La in Michigan captured my attention with the wisp of fog left on the water as the air begins to cool in August on the water that is still so warm from the summer sun. The green is still very lush this time of year and the reflections in the lake add to the charm of the image. It looked like it was going to rain, but the clouds passed, the sun came out, and the mist dissipated. But those few moments under the maple tree, breathing in this scene still linger with me as summer has come to an end and autumn begins.
