Description
Summertime means gardening in Michigan! It's my favorite hobby. I grow nasturtium because the leaves and the flowers are not only pretty, but they're delicious! I grow basil, parsley, mint, tomatoes, dill, and lettuce. There is nothing like growing what you eat. I've always admired farmers for this. There's such a feeling of accomplishment and fulfillment in harvesting the bounty. I have a tiny garden, so I can't grow much. I also live in a town so my little patch of dirt will have to do! But when I made this salad, I had to capture it's beauty before we ate it. It was absolutely delicious.
