Description
A trip to Italy will expose you to more statues than anywhere in the world, I swear. I love statues more than any other art form; the detail on such a large scale, the real life qualities of so many of the great artists' work.
This life-sized statue graces the grounds of the Pitti Palace in Florence, Italy; Palazzo Pitti. I've rendered the photograph in black and white, adding the illusion of ivy and a gate. It was photographed with a 35 millimeter film camera and then created in Photoshop.
