Description
Angel statuary is a favorite subject of mine. This photo and technique has been floating around in my head for a long time. I originally created her in a sepia-tone. I wanted a lighter, more pastel feel. More uplifting, like the angel she is. She watches over me. I have photographed her for years. She has been painted over, busted, and treated so poorly in the cemetery she presides over. But she remains steadfast and ever present. She represents all of the angels who tenderly watch over us; protecting us, guiding us, loving us.
