Description
Presently, I'm challenging myself to creating one image a day that meet my standards. :) It's forcing me to look at things in a different way and be even more observant than my trained eye normally is.
I'm enjoying the challenge immensely. This is part of a series I've created for a photographer friend who fell ill. I send him an image a day. He's my mentor and friend. So I want to please him and make him smile with my images to lighten his burden and remind him of the beauty in the world.
This black and white image is a local ale house doorway during a rainstorm. I loved the symmetry and colors. I also thought that it seemed very timeless. With some edits done in both my phone and on my computer, it finally gave me the feeling I felt when I looked at for the first time. Enjoy.
