Artist's Description
This bright red barn was a landmark in my neighborhood for many years. The silo, the large maple tree, the cow pasture… it was all a message that I was almost home. We called it ‘the shire’. In every season, it had its own distinct beauty. The blooming forsythia with the spring green grass are such happy accompaniments to the red barn and blue sky. We no longer live down that country, dirt road. But when I drive by to visit old friends, memories flood back to me of happy, wonderful times near the shire.

Lots of things inspire me in my art. I love traveling, and have been afforded the opportunity to see wonderful places all over the world. I then share our travel destinations with others so they can experience the beauty out there too. Another passion of mine is ornamental gardening. Flowers...
