Rain and wind swept this Gloriosa Black-Eyed Susan's quilled petals over it's center.
Colors are heightened by the wet, overcast weather. This dazzling blossom is an amalgamation of yellow, red, and orange shades that counteract the dark brown, almost black center.
The scientific name is Rudbeckia and is also known as a coneflower.
