Description
The sweet light of dawn. The still waters as they softly wash upon the shoreline in swirls. The clouds that look like puffs of cotton candy you can almost touch. The muted, colorful hues that wash over the sky as the sun creates just enough light for silhouettes and reflections.
The world sleeps. Birds aren't out yet to catch the morning meal. This is when I like to walk alone and reflect. The unraveling begins of the mental minutiae that has halted and stifled my breath. I walk alone and continue to unravel the mental trappings of everyday life, so I can breathe deeply again and fully immerse myself in being instead of doing.
This is a version of an image I also have in warm tones, but I had a request for it in cool morning tones, so it was adjusted and reworked from scratch. I may very well hang this one in my own home, as it has always been one of my all-time favorite images.
