Description
The clouds in the sky on this day were ominous. Spooky. There was a silence that occurred as the storm drew near. Everything stopped. I imagined this idyllic scene and realized that the storm would not ravage it. The stone wall, the iron gate, the wisteria vine twisted like armor on the posts. They would all be fine. But me, no longer contemplating sitting on that bench, my moment of nirvana was over and I needed to run for cover as quickly as I could!
The memories built into photographs are priceless. An old friend, who has since passed, was with me. We wandered around all day enjoying the beautiful foliage in this garden in Toledo, Ohio, in the United States. We barely beat the storm with our equipment, throwing ourselves into the car and laughing all the way home.
