Product Details

Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Each pillow is printed on both sides (same image) and includes a concealed zipper and removable insert (if selected) for easy cleaning.

Artist's Description

This gorgeous magnolia is named Ann. She was a mother's day gift last year. As we are in Michigan, it was such a surprise that she will actually bloom on and off all summer long! Her petals are shades of pale pink, almost white, to a deep fuscia.

She blooms before there is really any green anywhere else, so it's difficult to catch her with an inviting background. And I have never, nor will I ever, pick a blossom so I can primp it just right to photograph it. I don't know why, I just can't. Maybe because the petals are so very, very delicate.

Between the soft petals, the pastel shades, and the treatment of the edges, I felt the name, Spring Comes Softly, fit the image of this tulip magnolia. Flowers are, and always have been, my first love in photography. This image was captured with an iPhone 7+ using Camera Plus macro mode. The treatment was done in Photoshop using various overlays and textures to achieve the right affect I was looking for to enhance, without overwhel...

It stands to reason that when I spray painted the neighbor's black hearse a sparkling shade of silver that I was destined to be an artist.
