Description

The Roman Forum is a rectangular forum surrounded by sprawling ruins of ancient buildings in the center of Rome, Italy.

The Forum was where all major events occurred; triumphant processions, elections, speeches, trials, and commercial affrairs all happened here. It was the center of the Roman universe. Statues and monuments were built here. It is called the most celebrated meeting place in all of history.

The buildings include the Temple of Vesta, Temple of Castor and Pollux, the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, San Lorenzo in Miranda, Curia Julia, and the Temple of Caesar.
