Description
In June here in Michigan, the peonies explode in a burst of shades of pink in my garden. I have other colors like white and coral and red, buut it is these shades of pink that grab me most. They don't last long, they only bloom once, and their fragrance and beauty linger in my mind another 12 months until they come again.
As I harvest dozens of them, I caught this array. Then I noticed the single, remaining raindrop in the center bottom of the image! The rain weighs the flower heads down such that they need to be cut and put in vases to prolong them. This is my view everywhere in our home today. Lucky me.
