Fabulous floral image! I feel like I'm sinking into the depths of this beautiful flower...

I entered this in a state competition. They said I was crazy to enter a black and white flower. But it scored well. I believe it's because of the richness of the tones. These petals were almost completely dry. They were golden ivory. The large magnolia leaves had protected it from the elements. It just was cooler in B&W than color. That's all I can say. :) Thanks for your comment, Peggy.
