This blush and pale yellow Cafe Au Lait dahlia photographic art piece was inspired by a quote I came upon yesterday... "Let the beauty we love be what we do." Rumi's words of wisdom. Always. My passion for the beautiful and sharing it with others continues, grows, changes, expands...not just my art, but me.
My love of dahlias began when I married friends' of ours daughter (yes, I'm a wedding officiant after retiring from portrait photography). These pale beauties were everywhere. I was captivated. I called her florist and found out what they were. I began cultivating dahlias at that point. It has created not only a beautiful garden at my home but two people who now share my joy. We share tubers and learn about dahlias together. I named us the Dahlia Lamas. :)
I thought this image would make the perfect summer women's tank top, now that I am adding that to my offerings.

Lots of things inspire me in my art. I love traveling, and have been afforded the opportunity to see wonderful places all over the world. I then share our travel destinations with others so they can experience the beauty out there too. Another passion of mine is ornamental gardening. Flowers...
