Description
The coastlines of Ireland are breathtaking. This one on the Atlantic Coast are the cliffs of Slieve League, near Donegal. It was captured on a very windy day. They are the highest cliffs in Ireland; three times higher than the Cliffs of Moher, which are more famous. There were no guardrails like we are used to in the United States. And yes, people do indeed fall off. We were told not to lift our arms if we had rain gear on because it makes like a sail.
I got as near the edge as I dared with my husband hanging on to me and captured a few images. I loved the remote cove. I imagine boats coming in and having that tiny stretch of beach to themselves surrounded by these gorgeous mountains.
