Description

This pink coneflower, also known as echinacea, was highlighted by a single ray of sunlight in a garden. Echinacea is a healing plant that is used in herbal remedies, teas, cough drops, etc. Even the wildlife know it heals and love eating it!

I was struck by the contrast of the darkness of the woods behind the flowers with the sunlight streaming down onto the single flower head, as if to say, 'grow, grow'. If every blade of grass has an angel, then surely does every flower.
