A golden yellow ginkgo leaf bakes in the cloudless, blue sky on an autumn day. He seems to be saying, 'look at me in all my glory'! I bought this ginkgo tree with friends' donations for our garden to plant something lovely in my mama's memory when she passed. I studied and searched a long time, as we have a small piece of property and I wanted a tree. So it had to be relatively small tree. A slender tree. We have two orange maples and two burgundy crabapple trees, so I wanted yellow to really show off autumn's palette in Michigan. He didn't disappoint!
