Honey House, a well-known, beautiful old home in Dexter, Michigan, United States, has a wonderful charm to it with its turret, wrought iron trim, and decorative detailed shingles in the architecture. Although the home is lovely in every season, it is Autumn where I think it holds its most charm. The colorful maple trees on the edge of the yard are always a brilliant red.
The home has changed hands many times. When I was photographing it, it was owned by Eddy and Janet Going. Eddy had grown up there as a boy. When he grew up, he came back and bought it from the Honey family. He and his wife filled the home with love and beautiful antiques, as this was Mr. Going's business.
